Our Business

Founded in February of 1996, People Movers is the oldest
continually operated taxi and van service in the Upper Valley area.

People Movers offers van, auto and mini bus service
throughout the Northeast including service to all major
airports of New England.   

We provide transportation for Special Events, Company Parties,

Field Trips, Foliage Tours and Weddings.

Special Rates are available for groups and schools.

Who We Are

Naomi Lucas:

President

Naomi has been in the food and beverage industry for 40 years, working her way from the back of the house to ownership. Naomi founded Big Yellow Taxi in 1996 with three cars and an idea. Today, that idea has grown and developed into People Movers, Inc. - a full service Transportation provider with over 20 vehicles and affiliates nationwide.

Guided by her strong commitment to providing quality customer service, Naomi also owns and operates a night club, small restaurant, and bowling center with her husband, Dale.

A member of the board of directors for the Good Neighbor Free Health & Red Logan Dental Clinic, she also plays host to the clinic’s largest fund raiser, an annual Bowl-A-Thon. In addition, Naomi actively supports numerous civic and charitable organizations. In her spare time, Naomi enjoys taking in a Red Sox game, spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Kirby Ogle:

Vice-President

With over 25 years of experience in the service and hospitality industry, Kirby was part of Big Yellow Taxi’s founding in 1996. After a hiatus as facilities and operations director at a local resort, Kirby returned to Big Yellow Taxi as a shareholder during the restructuring and creation of People Movers in 1999.

In addition to overseeing day to day operations, Kirby’s primary focus has been on the development of the livery division and fostering relationships with the lodging and business community. In 2005, Kirby split the Taxi division to allow it to concentrate on its core business - on demand service - and formed People Movers STS to handle pupil transportation and the para-transit business.   

Kirby sits on a number of local and regional transportation committees and attends as many industry trade and educational shows as time allows.  He participates in various fund-raising activities and donates his time to transport teams for Special Olympics. He is a supporter of the Easter Seals Project Action and an outspoken advocate of ADA compliance in the transportation industry.

Kirby lives in Lebanon, New Hampshire with his wife, Melissa and their youngest son, Alex. He enjoys spending time with his family, travel, fishing and spoiling his two grandsons.
